Why this exists
The program is required. The complexity is optional.
New Jersey requires designated Class A, B, and C operators for regulated underground storage tanks. Getting Class A/B certified means required training and a tough exam. Keeping a real program alive means records, staff training, calendars, and calm when something fails.
Most owners don’t want a second career in N.J.A.C. 7:14B. They want fuel to flow, registrations current, and fewer surprises. UST NJ is that service: audit → put our name on the program → help if things go wrong.
We’re intentionally simple. We don’t try to be your tank installer, remediator, and lawyer. We do the Class A/B operator role well and tell you when you need a different specialist.
